Aswani is the Chief Operating Officer of a Travel Tech company that offers specialized, next generation travel retailing engines for global airline customers. She is also the founder of Kerala Pravasi Association, a non-profit, national political party working towards the welfare and rehabilitation of expatriates from Kerala, towards the vision of creating a ‘Self Reliant Kerala through Pravasis’. Her work which aims towards the betterment of the diaspora has her oversee all the activities and events held by the organization as well as virtually coordinating with member associations from across the globe to expand KPA’s presence across the world.
Aswani is also passionate about mentoring and spreading more opportunities for women in leadership roles in the technology sector.

She also oversaw operations of the related properties including Oriental Institute of Hotel Management, Wayanad.

Aswani was responsible managing the IT development and lead and recruitment. She was also led the mentorship and guidance for the technical team members in all project activities on multiple small to medium sized projects or one large project. She proactively participated in developing supporting proposal materials for projects, scoping and planning work, writing technical documentation (admin guides), white papers, presentations as well as contributed to internal processes. In her role, she was able to shift between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project while identifying new opportunities and developing new ideas for clients.
