About Aswani Nambarambath

Aswani is a social reformer, start-up enthusiast, and C-level executive in a leading travel technology company. With over a decade of experience in technology and entrepreneurship, she is committed to creating transformative opportunities that empower individuals and communities across India.

Driven by a deep passion for innovation, Aswani founded her first Tech Development company at the age of 21, scaling it into a global player serving clients worldwide. Her venture earned a place among the Top 100 Startups in India, It was also led under the ‘Startup India, Standup India Program’ and incubated under the Kerala Startup Mission, with support from the Govt IT Mission, cementing her reputation as a trailblazer in the technology and business landscape.

Aswani understands the nuances of startups and was one of the first women entrepreneurs to take the leap and embark on this journey in Kerala, and later saw her play a pivotal role for many tech advancements in the years to come. Today she is a reputed technology-driven executive shaping the future of Technology in hospitality, and aviation distribution.

Her expertise led her company to be listed and recognized as one of the Top 100 Startups from India. It was recognized under the ‘Startup India, Standup India Program’ and got incubated under the Kerala Startup Mission with support from the Kerala IT mission.  In her present role as Chief Operating Officer for a Travel Tech company, she continues to lead the way in building next-generation booking engines and distribution platforms for Airlines, Corporate travel and Travel agencies. 

Aswani believes that women are and have always been significant contributors in the field of technology and believes that it is the need of the hour to improve gender diversity and create equal opportunities for them. Her strong belief and self-empowerment have changed the perception of a ‘career in technology for women’ and have paved the way for many to follow.

Aswani is the Founding President of Kerala Pravasi Association – the first national political party led by expatriates, working towards the welfare and rehabilitation of expatriates from Kerala and towards the vision of creating a ‘Self Reliant Kerala through expatriates.

In her role as National Council President, she brings her expertise in technology and her commitment to work towards the greater good of their goals, striving to dismantle patriarchal structures and promote gender equality. She oversees all major activities and events held by the organization as well as virtually coordinates with member associations from across the globe to expand KPA’s presence across the world. Through her digital and social marketing expertise, she has successfully propelled KPA’s online presence, attracting over 4 lakh followers on Facebook, establishing it as the most followed National Political Party on the social media platform.

She is also a voice for women and girls’ economic empowerment and in her role she works closely with expatriate Indians and advocating for policies to support low-income families and women entrepreneurs in India.
